THE MUSIC YOUR REMEMBER
conceived and written by Jerry Perna
directed by Benjamin Lloyd

Celebrating the tender pop music of the 1960’s, the play finds Paul Diolio, having just learned that he has been denied tenure, teaching his final class called “Sound Judgment: Theories and Speculations on Popular Music, Addendum to Follow, 101.” He is joined by his young female teaching assistant Sally, who leads him on a kaleidoscopic journey of memory, accompanied by a varied and exciting audio and video score, as well as live musical performances. As Sally is revealed to be more than she seems, Paul undergoes a redemptive transformation.

with: Jerry Perna and Kristen Bailey

LUCKIEST KID
by Martha Kemper
directed by Benjamin Lloyd

A Greek-inspired chorus presents a story teller who narrates the tale of a young girl who finds refuge in her high-school theater, while her family crumbles at home. Surrounded by an astonishing group of peers, and led by the nearly-magical Miss Jones, the “sixth period gang” performs in musicals, learns about ancient Greek theater and navigates adolescence. The girl falls in love with Miss Jones, they sleep together, and everything changes. The play continues across the landscape of the girl’s life and ends – where else? – in Greece

with: Martha Kemper, Joshua L. Browns, Cindy Spitko, Eva Hall, Fleece, Andrew Carroll, Dan Ison
