Just “Current”…Just “Jarret”!

On Today’s podcast, we enjoy some mint tea overlooking the new World Trade Center at the Millennium Hilton to discuss Current Events with Jarret Berenstein. There are many self-producers in New York and we aim to find them all…well, as many as we can! Stay Tuned!

Jarret Berenstein

Jarret Berenstein is a New York based writer, comedian and producer. Since moving to the city in 2001 he has performed and developed comedy in a variety of mediums, focusing at times on either improv, sketch or stand up.

As an improviser he has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, the People’s Improv Theater, and the Magnet Theater where he is currently on one of the oldest and most well-regarded house teams, Junior Varsity.

As a sketch writer he wrote and performed for the Magnet Theater‘s very first sketch show. He has written and performed in a number of comedic shorts that are available online (http://goo.gl/AFYN6), and his one man sketch show, Boosh Kla Klau, was given a Time Out NY Critics’ Pick and won the Best Solo Show award at the LA Comedy Festival.

As a stand up comedian he can be seen regularly at Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club, and Comix at Foxwoods Casino. He most recently performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland OR, the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin TX, the Young Guns of Comedy Competition, and the NC Comedy Arts Festival.
