From the pages of a 4th grade “Diary”

Buffer

On one of my many train rides back to Philadelphia, I met up with Ellie Brown, writer of the up coming production of “Dear Diary, Bye”, a collection of her deepest darkest thoughts from her 4th grade diary. We sip coffee and wax memories about this production whose process began in last season’s “SoLow Festival”…which we just so happen to be supporting. Stay Tuned!

Dear Diary, Bye

ABOUT DEAR DIARY, BYE

Dear Diary, Bye. is a play based on Ellie Brown’s 4th grade diary from 1984. It features school yard scrapping, a boy crazy tale, family troubles and sweet misunderstandings of adult concepts. It’s a comedic and family friendly piece. Did I mention that the diary is being read by a MAN? Yes, it’s true.

The play is written by Ellie Brown
Performed by Arlen Hancock
Directed by Seth Reichgott
