Today’s podcast is an East coast/West Coast connection. We are joined by Kimball Allen and Emma Hassett to talk about the United Solo production of BE HAPPY BE MORMON. Stay Tuned!
ABOUT BE HAPPY BE MORMON
“Be Happy Be Mormon” is a voyeuristic look into the childhood of a Bambi-loving vegetarian, ballet slipper wearing, Diet Coke drinking gay Mormon Boy Scout. Born into a large conservative Idaho family he doesn’t relate to, Kimball Allen chronicles his upbringing as a fabulous black sheep through colorful narration, private home movies, songs, dance and the occasional acrobatics in this hysterically tragic performance.
Allen’s latest play will premiere at the highly acclaimed Theatre Row in the heart of the New York City theatre district as part of “The Official Selection of 2014 United Solo Theatre Festival.
Playwright/Performer: Kimball Allen.
